Extra motivation!!!

I just found a great way to motivate myself to loose a few pounds…  We booked ourselves a trip to New York City Easter weekend!!!  I am sooooo excited!!! Haven’t been to New York city in about 15 years.  Can’t wait to go back!!!  And we are not driving (which would be about a 7 hour drive) - we are flying!!!  Yeah!!!  :) - Can you tell I’m excited!!! :)

A bit down…

Went for my weigh-in at WW yesterday.   Wasn’t happy with the result :(  Gained 1/2 pound!!!!  Don’t get it - I have worked out 3-4 times a week in the last few weeks, have been drinking gallons of water, have stopped munching on rice cakes, been eating more fruits… and I gained!!!  I know it’s a small setback, but it still got me a bit down, but not for long!!!

I will continue what I am doing - I know I am eating well and exercising and the results will eventually show up!!

Still going strong… more or less!

Had an OK weekend - exercise wise, it was good - did an exercise dvd and went for a one-hour walk in the morning and another one-hour walk at the end of the day - even though it was like -20 Celsius!  Brrrrrr!! ;)

As for the ”diet”, did not so bad.  Had one muffin (that I made so I know what’s in it!!) and did have some dark chocolate Saturday night.  Nothing major, but I could have done better…  Made some WW soup (0 point) and enjoyed that in front of the fireplace!! ;)

Went back to the gym this morning, even though it was quite hard to get up at 5 when I heard it was something like -35 Celsius with the wind… Proud of the fact that I managed to get out of bed anyway!!!

Turbo Jam

Saw the informercial today - looks so effective!!  Has anyone tried it??  Would love to have a nice flat stomach!!!  I stopped myself from ordering because I have so many dvds already…  Let me know if you have it and if it’s worth it!!! ;)

YEAH!!! -2.6!!!!

Can you tell I am happy????  Yup, lost the pound I had gained last week… plus part of the 5 pounds I had gained during the holidays!!  What a great feeling!!!  It’s giving me the push I need to continue and to finally lose those awful pounds I gained in the last year!!!

I am drowning…

from drinking too much water!!! :) I have kept my promise to drink more water.  Since Monday, I have been drinking gallons of it every day…  will see if it makes a difference on the scale tomorrow!!

I have gone to the gym every day - went to a class today of body design (a bit of aerobics with a lot of weight training) (I have a feeling my body will be hurting all over tomorrow!!) - lots of fun!!!  I am doing real good - keeping my fingers crossed that I will continue to do OK!!

One Week

Can’t believe it’s already been a week since I’ve been back on track!!  I went back to the gym, I stopped eating chips (was eating rice chips - but there are still too many calories in a bag!!) , and I didn’t have any chocolate (which is a big thing for me!!).  All in all it was  a good week, even if I didn’t loose any pounds… 

 My plan for this week, is to train at least 3 times, and start weight training.  I aim also to start drinking more water - I don’t drink enough - and I know it should make a different in my hunger!!

Today, went for a nice hour long walk in the woods, as there isn’t too much snow.  Had to go up many many stairs (my heart was pumping!!) … Check it out :

Relaxing day at home…

Even the cats are relaxing!!!  After working out 4 times this week - decided to take it a bit easy today… Went for a short walk (about 1/2 hour) just to get some fresh air, rented a movie and just relaxing!!  Big cheat of the day… low-calorie hot chocolate!  :)

I said no to CHOCOLATE!!!!!

Yup!!  You saw it here!!  I refused chocolate this afternoon at work!!!  I am so pleased with myself!!  Just had to share!! :)

Yes!!! It is Friday finally!!  And I am proud that I have done good this week, even though I gained a pound :(.  I exercised 4 times (four mornings got up at 5!!), did a bit of weight training today… and am now hurting all over!!! ;)

The real test will be this weekend… I love to bake…  my plan is to bake something healthy and bring the whole thing to the office on Monday…  ;)
